Mission: “Tennessee’s largest nonprofit law firm that takes a comprehensive approach to providing high quality, free, civil legal services and community education”
Problem Statement: SCNO will conduct a community needs and impact study that profiles who they are serving compared to the needs of TN. The focus would be on focus on diversity, and initial planning to better access those under-served populations.
Special Olympics of Tennessee
Project Manager: Charlie Tatum
Mission: “Sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities…The world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities”
Problem Statement: SCNO will support valuation and implementation of Special Olympics Colorado’s registration system, because SOTN’s current system inhibits many athletes from accessing services.
Cheekwood
Project Manager: Lauren Mok
Mission: “Celebrate and preserve Cheekwood as a historical landmark where beauty and excellence in art and horticulture nurture the spirit and serve as inspiration for a diverse and broad audience.”
Problem Statement: SCNO will aid in diversifying funding sources and identifying new areas of funding to contribute to the overall development strategy of a $17 million organization.
Adroit
Project Manager: Lia Shim
Mission: Train high school students in robotics to develop an early interest in STEM fields through direct application of concepts in competition.
Problem Statement: SCNO will help Adroit reach new students and maintain relationships with alumni, overcoming issues due to limited transportation access, scheduling difficulties, and funding constraints.
Dream Streets
Project Manager: Owen Shen
Mission: Dream Streets mission is to protect and empower individuals living in distress. Their programs serve under-resourced families in West and North Nashville.
Problem Statement: SCNO will develop a fundraising and branding strategy, with a focus on exploring potential social enterprise solutions (specifically a product line).
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Chicago
Project Manager: Ryder Li
Mission: To create a positive relationship between people and nature through collaborations, education, research and collections, exhibitions, and public forums to grow our region’s urban connection to the world of nature and science.
Problem Statement: Given the recent expiration of the 10-year strategic plan, SNCO will support the new leadership is looking to diversify revenue streams to be less reliant on city budget.

Project Manager: Alice Ge
Mission: To make early childhood care accessible to all people in the Greater Nashville area.
Problem Statement: SCNO will support Equally Created in pursuing expansion into new locations as an ambitious nonprofit. This project includes identifying partners for real estate in order to address Nashville childcare crisis.
